Uaz Off Road New Horizon is a casual racing game in which you get to drive around Russian landscapes using their iconic Uaz vehicles, as well as perform a few interesting missions along the way. Don’t expect too much of a simulator, on the other hand, because the game is designed to provide you with fun, not an accurate portrayal of an off-road experience.
There are three game modes to choose from, depending on your preference. Hence, whether you want to free roam, deliver goods from one place to the other or just race from checkpoint to checkpoint, the game has everything in store. On the other hand, it must be mentioned that you need a special car in order to play the Delivery mode, but you don’t have enough money to buy it in the beginning.

Basic graphics and simple simulation

The gameplay is very basic when it comes to how the vehicle reacts to bumps and how the tires deal with grip. It’s also possible to choose whether to play during heavy rain and at night, but it would appear that there’s very little difference when it comes to grip, so that’s a bit of a disappointment. Exploration is the main ingredient, however, so the actual driving shouldn’t be as important.
Naturally, don’t expect an awful lot in the graphics department either, given the small file size and the casual nature of the game. The cars and the maps look pretty decent, on the other hand, even if the special effects are rather poor. On the other hand, at least you can run the game on older computers as well, given the low system requirements.

Climb steep hills and transport goods

All things considered, Uaz Off Road New Horizon is obviously not going to impress the veterans of the racing genre, but it can be the perfect game for newcomers or casual gamers. Thus, it’s certainly better than most other games in this particular niche.
