Tetra Blocks

Tetra Blocks is a Tetris inspired game that’s actually Tetris but with a few features added to it. It allows you to play a solo game and see how far you can go, or you can play in multiplayer mode against someone and see who wins.

It’s Tetris but in split screen mode

Whether you want to play solo, you will still have the main window separated into two playing sections. You can start a game and the second player can join in at any time without interrupting you score streak. This allows you to both play Tetris without actually competing against each other.
However, if you do decide to compete, the game enables you to choose a difficulty level, set the rotation direction for the tetriminos and even configure the keys. It’s designed to be a pretty straightforward game, without any added features or out of the box mechanics.

Random piece generation to keep things interesting

Since you play against each other, side by side, the tetriminos that fall from above are randomly generated for each player, this way you won’t be able to copy the other person’s moves. The only thing you can actually do to mess with the other player is to distract him or her with bad puns or awkward compliments.
Tetra Blocks is a rather old game and the time when it was appealing has long time passed. Now, it’s just a Tetris clone that can be played in versus mode and has a maximum resolution of 640 by 480. There’s not much to it.

A decent choice if you’re looking to waste time in a casual way

To sum it up, Tetra Blocks is an ok game if you don’t expect much from it. If a simple game of Tetris is what you’re looking for, then this game will be able to offer that.
