Racing games usually require a combination of skill and fast reflexes, especially arcade ones that do not really take the laws of physics into consideration. As long as you are quick enough to steer away from trouble, it doesn’t matter how fast you are going, because the car can magically slide from one lane to the other without a hint of inertia or momentum.

A futuristic city ruled by speed and adrenaline

Super Speed Neo is a small game in which you only have to do one thing: gain as many points as possible. In order to do that, you just have to keep driving without hitting other cars, which actually sounds pretty simple in theory. However, once you add the heavy traffic to the equation, coupled with the dizzying speed of your car, things get a lot more difficult to deal with.
In order to keep you from getting bored, the game features an endless highway for you to race on, one that is randomly generated on a regular basis. On the other hand, there’s not much variety to begin with, so it’s not that exciting in the long run. It does get more difficult to keep track of your surroundings, however, mainly because your car is constantly accelerating.

Use the boost to slow down time

After a while, you might get to the point where it is almost impossible to avoid a crash, regardless of how fast your reflexes are. Thankfully, you can make use of the adrenaline meter, which allows you to activate the slow motion and bring everything to a crawl for a few seconds. This meter charges automatically, but you can also pick up charge along the way.
Probably the greatest disappointment lies with the fact that you can never actually crash, because your car just goes through every other vehicle. Every time you touch another car the score resets, so it’s kind of anticlimactic. Still, it’s always satisfying to use the slow motion at the right time. In addition, the graphics may not be brilliant, but they at least create the proper atmosphere.

Try to beat your own high scores

In the end, Super Speed Neo lacks many features and components, but you have to remember that this is still just a prototype. Hence, it could be improved later on, and it would be nice to see a more complete product in the future.
