Stacks - Create and Destroy

It doesn’t take much to mesmerize people with the wonders of virtual reality, especially now when it’s barely out on the market. Simple VR experiences won’t amount to much in a few years, but they can be pretty powerful and exciting now. Hence, even if most games only allow you to move your head at the moment, they are still better than a classic experience on a regular monitor.

Use cubes to build towers and various other contraptions

Stacks - Create and Destroy is an interactive sandbox game in which your goal is quite simple: use colored cubes to build towers, and then destroy them by disabling the gravity. It sounds boring in theory, and in any under circumstances it would be, but once you put on the VR set and watch the cubes appear in front of you, everything gets a lot more exciting.
The mechanics are fairly simple as well: there’s a table in front of you on which you can place the small cubes and arrange them in any way you wish. Each cube you spawn automatically appears in a much larger version as well, somewhere in front of the table in question. Thus, you do not have to worry too much about blocking your view, because the entire design is always in front of you on the table.

Change colors and turn off the gravity

The table has a few other buttons as well, and you can use them to pick the desired color for the cubes, or even randomize the entire thing and always end up with a different shade. Obviously, it makes no difference what color they are, because all cubes behave the same. You can place them on top of each other and build towers, but it takes a bit more work in regards to how you move your head.
When you are finished, it can be fun to see everything go to waste, if you are that kind of person. To help you with that, the game includes a gravity switch, which works exactly how you imagine. Hence, everything starts floating randomly in the air once you press the switch, except for the table and your character, which is only fair.

Decent graphics and small file size

All things considered, Stacks - Create and Destroy is far from a revolutionary product, but it can be the perfect way to test your Oculus Rift headset. In fact, it’s a very comfortable experience for a beginner, especially if you generally experience motion sickness in other games.
