Description
Regular Human Basketball is a game that mashes together a bunch of things in a wonderfully creative manner. It’s a very simple concept that is delivered to forever change the way you know and look at both basketball and street ball.
B-Ball, the way mad scientists would play it
The idea to Regular Human Basketball is simple; there are two giant robots that are human controlled, and you use them to play basketball. However, your character needs to move around inside the robot to trigger commands that tell it to go forward, pick up the ball, toggle the jet boosters and so on.
We’re pretty sure you haven’t played this brand of confusing basketball, so we recommend it. Since this is a sport, the game is narrated by two fellas who have Stephen Hawking voices, and a good deal of mature references to make. Also, at times when the bots crash into each other, from afar, it all looks like a Picasso.
The kind of game that’s best played with friends
Jumping alone in Regular Human Basketball to control the player is a great task all on its own. It’s not impossible but it takes a good deal of moving around, and it eats away from the dynamic of the game. With at least two players controlling the B-Ball-Bot things are a bit different because one can focus on the movement while the other can ‘dribble’ or shoot. Regular Human Basketball requires a lot of coordination from its players not just individually, but also as a whole. Up to ten players can connect to the game at the same time and simultaneously do their best to score some dunks. Add a coach to each team and you pretty much have a new virtual sport.
Hectic fun that builds team spirit
To wrap it up, Regular Human Basketball is an excellent game for days in which you and a few buddies want to kick back and play a totally crazy but seriously competitive game.
