You begin with a full fuel tank and a few interest points on the map, such as the fuel station or your home. It’s important to start picking up customers right away, otherwise you might not afford fuel when you run out after wandering aimlessly around the map. Naturally, each customer wants to go to a certain location, so it’s important to get there as quickly as possible.

Watch out for your customer’s happiness level

Since most people want to get to their destination with as little stress as possible, you have to watch out for their comfort level and make sure you avoid accidents. Driving smoothly is not a viable option, unfortunately, because the mechanics are very rough and unpredictable. Thus, the vehicle handling is difficult to predict and learn, and it’s not a pleasant experience.
Lastly, the graphics are nothing to write home about either, but they are not bad either. It’s a bummer that the map is so repetitive, and it’s also quite annoying that you can never see too much ahead of you, making it difficult to negotiate corners. However, at least there are different weather patterns and nice special effects, so the experience is not as bad as you might imagine.

All in all, Grand Taxi Driver 3D can easily keep you busy for a few minutes, but it loses its appeal after that. Hence, the repetitive map and lack of actual content make it difficult to keep playing for too long.
