Close The Path HD is a very interesting puzzle game that has you playing the role of an almighty god trying to block the path of a character while he is trying to make it to the exit. You are only allowed to make one move per turn, so you have to think ahead and take the character’s move into consideration as well, because your plan only works if it covers every possibility.
The board is made out of hex tiles, and you can place barrels on one tile per turn, while the character has the right to move one tile in every direction after you do so. Sometimes it can be a bit tricky to find the best solution, but it also depends on the initial placement of the barrels that are already on the map. Hence, luck can play an important role as well.

Purchase new characters and obstacles

The game allows you to diversify the experience by providing you with multiple options when it comes to the characters you chase around the board, as well as multiple environments and obstacle types. These are mostly aesthetic, on the other hand, but it’s still nice to know that you are not hoarding currency for nothing. Moreover, it provides you with an additional purpose.
Everything is well when it comes to graphics, but simplicity is the key word. There are no flashy artwork pieces and no detailed 3D models, but then again there was no such need for them. Hence, your attention is mostly concentrated on the gameplay, so everything else fades in the background while you are trying to find a solution.
