Quiz games are very popular all around the world, especially televised ones that allow people to display their knowledge in front of an audience. Most of these games also require a bit of luck, as is the case with the famous Wheel Of Fortune. All the knowledge you may possess can be useless if luck isn’t on your side, at least when it comes to the winnings you take home at the end.

Spin the wheel and guess the letters

Wheel Of Fortune is a trivia game that aims to recreate the atmosphere of the famous televised show, except that it falls short in too many regards, especially when it comes to replay value and gameplay mechanics. Thus, it’s difficult to keep playing when there are only a handful of questions to tackle, and you are forced to answer them as slowly as possible.
To begin with, the goal is to guess the hidden word by picking correct letters from the alphabet, one per each round. After each letter you pick it’s also mandatory to spin the wheel, which in turn provides you with points. However, the words in question are very simple to guess just by reading the question, but there’s no option to provide the full answer.

Slow gameplay and a lack of content

Thus, you have to sit through the whole thing and discover every letter one-by-one, which is not fun when you already know the answer. The wheel spins can cause more harm than good as well, given the fact that there’s a spot on the wheel that causes you to lose all the points you have gathered so far. On the other hand, it’s not like you get the chance to acquire too many points anyway.
The same three questions are repeated every time you start a new game, in the same order no less. Even if this is an indie game designed by amateurs, there’s no excuse for the severe lack of content, especially when it’s very simple to come up with more questions and include them in the game. The poor graphics matter even less, although a better interface would help as well.

Too little content to be worth an install

All things considered, there are barely any reasons to give Wheel Of Fortune a try, because there are far better trivia games out there. However, this one wouldn’t be too bad either if it just had more questions to keep you busy.
