TeddyMare

TeddyMare is your casual arcade game with a survival twist to it. You play a little boy who is dragged into a nighmareish dungeon where he is stalked by evil monsters. You will have to find a way to survive the dark dungeon by killing the fiends using whatever means you see fit.

Simple and fun gameplay

TeddyMare is designed to be simple in both gameplay mechanics, visuals and controls. This however doesn't make it a bad game if you’re just looking for a casual and fun experience.
Using just five keys to move around and your mouse to aim and shoot, is exactly what you need to avoid the increasingly difficult enemies and multitude of traps that spawn everywhere. Your character is quick on his feet and can dash fast enough to avoid any monster, although, if they manage to surround you, and that happens often, you’re pretty much dead.
Level structure is the same every time you move on to the next one but the difference between them is that new types of traps and monsters appear each time. Your advantage is that you get to know your surroundings perfectly after a few levels but what comes next in terms of danger keeps surprising you.

Smooth animations and great audio soundtrack

TeddyMare doesn’t offer very much in terms of visuals, but it does deliver very fluent animations for every effect and that counts a lot. Controls are responsive and you will always manage to pull off any stunt you want if you time it correctly.
Since this is a survival game, you will always run around, dash, shoot and to keep things interesting you need a good soundtrack. Luckily, for such a small game, TeddyMare has a great one.

Your casual survival game to survive a boring day

On a closing note, TeddyMare is by all means a nice little game to have around for those days when you just want to relax. It looks good, it’s fun and there’s also perma-death.
