Mickey no Racing Challenge USA or Mickey's Speedway USA, is an emulation of the popular Nintendo game that allows you to race as one of six popular Disney characters on a variety of tracks.

Good clean Nintendo fun

Right off the bat, this is a game from 2000 so don’t expect mind blowing graphics although, for its time, those were pretty awesome. Today, the true value of the game resides in the fact that it remains equally fun to play now as it was when it first came out.
You get to pick between Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pete as racers, each one with his or her driving perks when it comes to speed, handling and so on. The stats make a difference during the race without leaving a particular one of the character to always play if you want to win. Additionally, there are four other secret characters to unlock as you win more and more races.

Fast-paced gameplay that puts a smile on your face

Like most arcade racers from back in the day, Mickey no Racing Challenge USA pitches you in a series of races where things happen really fast. Not only are the cars quick but you also have to watch out for tight turns, bonuses that you can pick up and most of all, you’ll have to do your best to dodge the sabotage arsenal that is available.
Each track contains a series of random power ups that can be used to protect your car, get speed boosts or temporarily take out one one of the opponents. The game also features a multiplayer mode which does wonders if you're looking to spend some time with the kids or watch them race each other (kids age can range from 5 to 85, you know how games work).
What’s particularly charming about Mickey no Racing Challenge USA is that the game is 100% animated and not because you have famous cartoon characters as racers. It’s because throughout the game, you never get a dull moment. Races take just a couple of minutes, everything happens fast and boy do these guys like to trash talk (Disney style) and it makes it a really fun experience.
