Description

Arcade games are designed to be fun in short sessions, because not everyone has dozens of hours of spare time to spend on a video game in order to hear how the story ends or learn how to properly handle the gameplay mechanics. Thus, they are also fairly simple when it comes to gameplay, even if the actual levels can be rather frustrating.

Destroy the evil animals using colorful marbles

Manjasha 2 is an arcade game in which your only goal is to destroy a couple of evil animals by toppling buildings over them. If the concept sounds familiar, that’s because it is the same as in Angry Birds, and it’s actually the same thing all over again, with a few minor modifications. However, these modifications are mostly visual, because the gameplay follows the same rules.
You start with a handful of marbles, which can be used to destroy the constructions that defend the animals. Naturally, it’s all about trying to create a domino effect, given the fact that you do not have enough marbles to individually target every enemy. However, the physics are substantially worse than in Angry Birds, which makes the experience much more frustrating as well.

Simple, but colorful graphics and basic controls

Each level features more enemies and tougher buildings, making it that much more difficult for you to achieve your goals. Sometimes it can be a bit too harsh and frustrating, but it’s nice to tackle a challenge, especially if you do not give up too easily. You can also switch between two different characters, although their special skills are quite difficult to pinpoint.
As for the graphics, don’t expect anything out of the ordinary, given the simple nature of the game and the borrowed gameplay mechanics. However, at least they are colorful and quite enjoyable most of the time, even if the level design gets painfully repetitive after a while. The sound is fairly basic too, although that is of little consequence as long as you have music playing in the background.

An Angry Birds close with no original ideas

In the end, Manjasha 2 could have at least added a few new concepts when it comes to gameplay, but it preferred to keep things as simple as possible, not innovating anything in the process. Hence, there’s barely any reason to try the game out, unless you are not yet familiar with Angry Birds.
