Speaking of which, the plot revolves around two friends, namely a girl and a boy. They find a nice hill close to home at one point and they decide to make it their special spot where no one else is invited or welcomed. Over the years, the two characters evolve and change their lives one way or the other, and you get to watch all that.

Whenever the two characters are having a conversation, you can actually choose what to respond, and you don’t always play with the same character. Obviously, some answers affect the plot a little bit, or at least the immediate response you receive. It all depends on how well you wish to preserve the friendship over the years. On top of it all, the events are not shown in chronological order, which makes the story a bit tougher to understand at first.
As for the graphics, the artwork is very simple and to the point, not to mention the fact that the background does not change very much over the course of the story. Some objects are added or subtracted every now and again, but the landscape remains more or less the same. In addition, there’s a gorgeous soundtrack playing in the background at all times, which makes the experience even more pleasant.

All in all, Nothing Can Stop Us can be very powerful if you are at a critical point in your life, but it may just blitz past others without making any kind of impression. Even so, the game is definitely worth a shot if you enjoy intriguing stories and clever video game ideas.
