Description
Trappy Mine, a tiny indie that’s built to be one of those simple yet enjoyable experiences. It’s not a game you’ll play for hours on end but if you’re looking for something to distract your for a couple of minutes and have fun at the same time, Trappy Mine is a solid choice.
Pickaxe your way through treacherous grounds
In Trappy Mine, you’ll have to speed your way into the far depths of whatever place you’re in to search of great riches. You won’t have to worry about zombies or giant monsters that are out to get you. Your only enemy will be the clock.
You need to dig fast and carefully until you reach the great underground treasure, all while keeping safe of explosives, falling things that can crush you, and various traps. You can easily impale yourself in some spike and even get blown to pieces by treasures that are actually traps.
Fast-paced digging mayhem
You can play Trappy Mine in two ways, chaotically and calculated. Since the game is all about getting the biggest score, you can either play by frantically digging each way to gather as much as possible or you can take your time and make sure you get to the destination without dying.
However, when it comes to the latter, there are no guarantees. You won't always know what’s beneath you when digging so falling into spikes or have something fall and squish you are options to always consider. The best way would be to find a balance between the two using your pickaxe and bombs to clear a nice rich path for you.
A neat little time waster
All in all, Trappy Mine is best enjoyed in short bursts during times of boredom. Thanks to its lighthearted nature and fast-paced gameplay, it might be the pick-me-up you need.
