Leaf Wind

Born from a great Oak tree, Leaf, along with his trusty companion Flower, managed to keep the plants of the Meadow safe from all sorts of dangers but, one day, this peaceful oasis was invaded by evil robots with only one mission programmed into their electronic brains: exploit the Green Meadow until there's nothing left to harvest.
Moreover, one of these dreadful robots kidnapped Flower, Leaf's companion, before our hero could intervene. Thus, Leaf starts on a dangerous quest to reach the origin of these machines, save Flower, and put an end to the destruction of their beloved home.
That being said, you step in the shoes of our fragile hero who now must overcome all sorts of dangers to fulfill his promise. As you explore the wonderful world of Green Meadow, you will encounter a few of the inventions brought by the robots, namely flying rotors.
These rotors will allow Leaf to travel from one ledge to another, traversing large gaps that otherwise he would not be able to cross.

Fly through the Meadow

Using the power of the flowers scattered around the meadow, Leaf can also use his floating ability to easily glide from one spot to another. Make sure you always fill your flight meter as soon as you find a flower or you won't be able to overcome the challenges ahead of you.
If you accidentally fall into a spike trap or touch an enemy, you will imediately sustain a little bit of damage that will eventually lead to your death. To restore his health, Leaf can collect the shiny yellow orbs scattered around each level. Further on, our hero will be joined by a small light making bug who will light the way through the darkness of the night.
Leaf Wind is a fun atmospheric platformer that, although it's quite short, it makes up through the beautifully rendered scenery that surely makes the Green Meadow look like a fairytale realm. The game manages to offer a pleasant experience, but the ending might not bring the closure you were looking for.
