Isoball 3

Isoball 3 is a puzzle game that has a simple looking approach and easy to understand mechanics but somehow manages to confuse your brain. It’s that kind of little Flash creation that tends to mess with you a bit.

Simple and elegant design that’s kind of appealing

If you’re a fan of simple looking things that are well designed, you will certainly enjoy Isoball 3. Even for a Flash powered game, it looks really basic and nice at the same time.
In each level you will have to create a road or a track on which a red ball must travel until it reaches its destination, a hole. The building blocks for the track will be some actual blocks of different sizes, ramps, bridges and tiles that you can use to change the direction of the ball.
Every level takes place in a room that has the exact size every time only the start and end points of the ball different and various obstacles appear to complicate things.

It looks harmless but it really isn’t

The first 15 levels are easy to get through but as you progress, the solutions just keep getting farther and farther from you. You might find yourself spending a couple of seconds on one and a good few minutes on another.
It’s not a game with consistency in difficulty but there will be moments when you feel like the game is messing with you, and that a solution is not possible. But every time, after you struggle a bit, you see it and often enough it was always such as simple one.

A clever game to play if you’re looking to spend some casual time with good puzzles

On a closing note, Isoball 3 is a game you really need to play. It might not dazzle you with overly complex puzzles but some of the ones it introduces you to are really good.
