As you probably understand by now, the game is not meant to be taken seriously, but it can help you have a laugh and forget about your troubles for a few minutes, especially if you enjoy cats and their attitude.
In essence, the whole story revolves around the fact that one of the cats accuses another of stealing food from the humans from a broken bag. Hence, the accuser asks for two weeks of eating first from the bowl the two cats share, while the defendant tries to argue that there’s nothing wrong with its actions. It’s not a complicated story, but it’s enough to make you smile every now and again.

Ask the right questions to uncover evidence

Your job as the judge is quite simple, since you only intervene when you have questions to ask. There’s usually more than one possible option, which means that you should be careful when you decide to ask something, lest you find yourself with no helpful information. When every argument is presented to you, the game allows you to choose a verdict, and you are actually free to go whichever way you decide.
As for the graphics, the artwork is not exactly beautiful, but the graphics are not bad either. It’s quite clear that the artwork is rushed and designed by a beginner, but it’s certainly not ugly either. Moreover, things can certainly get a lot better in the future, especially with more attention to detail and some concentration. Even so, the cats are pretty adorable, even if the style is pretty basic.

When it’s all said and done, Catroom Drama Episode 1 - The Eager Eater is more than capable to help you relax and let go of your problems, at least if you are a fan of cats. Even if you are not, the game can still catch you in its spell for a short while.
