Candles

While you've been away exploring your surroundings, the generator that powered your house lighting has run out of fuel allowing those dark loving imps to settle in with no reason to leave whatsoever.
Light your way through the creepy house
As you step in the shoes of the main hero, you'll find him walking towards his house on a dark and scary night. As you reach your house, you find out from a letter left behind by the postman that the imps have occupied it and won't leave unless forced to.
With the main power generator out of fuel, you will now have to light up the Candles in each room to keep those territorial imps away and find the items needed to fix the generator.
Darkness is a deadly enemy
Although you're familiar with your house, the darkness inside can hide deadly creatures that will stop at nothing to protect their new home. To make sure they won't harm our hero, you'll need to find and light up all the Candles in each room to keep those dark loving imps away.
Always be on the lookout for their glowing eyes when entering new rooms without any source of light and retreat quickly near the safety of a candle if you want to reclaim your house.
For that you will have to carefully explore the house to find the items you need to unlock the basement door and refuel the generator.
A tense horror adventure
Candles might not offer great scares through its gameplay but, the title manages to keep you on your toes with each dark room you explore mostly thanks to the great atmosphere created by all sorts of creepy sounds.
While the imps might not provide a real challenge if you're careful enough, Candles is surely worth a try if you're looking for a quick and tense horror adventure.
