The Jungle Book

Your job is to guide young Mowgli, the man-cub, through the dangers of the jungle, defeating some of Africas vilest villains, leading up to, and including, the tiger, Sheer-Kahn. Guiding your way, pretty much on the sidelines, are Bagheera, Balou, a squad of young elephants as progress markers, and a more neutral elephantine Dawn Patrol.
And lets not forget a healthy dose of none-to-friendly, coconut chuckin monkeys! This game is a standard movie adaption. Its a nice platform game (both horizontally and vertically scrolling). You get to play as Mowgli (of course), to shoot at, err, throw fruit at all kinds of critters, climb trees etc.
Watch Mowgli grow before you very eyes as he learns new tricks and journeys to exciting new levels of fun in Jungle Book: Mowglis Wild Adventure. Bagheera, Baloo, and all your favorite residents of Rudyard Kiplings JUNGLE BOOK are on hand to help Mowgli on his journey. This side-scrolling adventure is filled with wonderful animation and backgrounds rendered in a pleasing color palate, along with some stunning pieces of full-motion video.
Parents will be delighted to see that Mowglis approach to solving a series of engaging puzzles is non-violent in nature: troublesome predators are knocked out of the way with pieces of jungle fruit. As Mowgli solves problems hell earn skills that will take him deeper and deeper into the game, where hell face some difficult yet not impossible to defeat foes.
Get lost in a world of adventure that includes 20 levels, hidden bonus features and levels, a password save feature, soundtrack music from the Disney film and animated tutorials at the start of each level. Music and sound certainly do fit the movie-theme.
Jungle Book is a worthwhile game. Fans of the movie will be happy to see their old friends again and battle its infamous cast of villains. Parents need not worry, the game is as harmless as video games can be while still involving bad guys. It is a worthy add-on to your video game collection. And its a whole heck of a lot of fun! Its a bear necesity!
