Description

Sim Hero is, at its core, an RPG game that also assimilates a kingdom simulator and plenty of other small features from other genres. As a whole, it’s a game that initially unravels at a slow and steady pace, but offers enough moments to keep you interested, and after a while, it grows into something more.

A complex game in a simple shell

At a first glance, Sim Hero might not seem as much but it actually has plenty under the hood. Its RPG component alone is very complex as it allows you to do plenty, from equipping a hero to learning skills to appointing him or her as your personal guard and much more.
You can create up to three parties with three heroes each which you can send into expeditions across the land to explore abandoned ruins and new territories. Each member of your party can be unique, or from the same class, it’s up to you to decide because you can choose the composition of each group. You get very detailed stats for each one and that allows for a great deal of experimentation until you form the perfectly balanced team.

A strong economic system that is well implemented

Initially, the biggest challenge in the game will be to plot out how to manage your villagers in order to quickly develop a strong kingdom and army. You get to build tents that generate villagers, and then upgrade them for added bonuses. Depending on how many workers you have, you need to figure out how to efficiently use them because some need to provide food, others building resources and other miscellaneous items that are required for various tasks.
It takes quite a bit of time to get used to how everything works, a bit more if you have never played similar games. Although, after a few minutes in, things become pretty clear and soon enough, you’ll be intuitively flying through the controls.

Plenty to discover about the game as you play along

Sim Hero might not get you hooked initially, but as you play, random events start to occur, new heroes arrive at the wayrest, new buildings can be constructed and new lands to explore. It’s a game that starts at a rather slow pace but it also gradually evolves into a more and more enjoyable experience.
