Description
Five Nights at Freddy's was a huge success and it pretty much still is. Tense moments and screens are still being supplied and for some, the fear of darkness might have gotten up several points after playing that game. You won’t admit it, but we know it’s true.
Lucky for you, One Night At Flumpty's is here to reverse engineer the traumas that FNAF has subconsciously implemented. Not really. It does however provide a funny alternative to what will be called a classic in a few years.
Meet Flumpty Bumpty, a giant and deranged egg that will have a smashing good time killing you
The concept of One Night At Flumpty's is pretty much that of FNAF’s, you are a night watchman who has to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity. The goal is to make it to the end of your shift, at 6AM, with all your limbs intact and organs in their proper place. It won’t happen, but you’ll try anyway.
Your character won’t be able to move but he has several camera monitors that can be used to check up on things. Gameplay consists of clicking on camera buttons, closing or opening doors and turning lights on or off, as well as clicking a cactus so that it can tell you that it’s a cactus.
However, while it’s all fun and games, things take a turn for the bad when you start noticing that the apparently inanimate characters you see on screen disappear when you’re not looking and start to wonder about, looking suspiciously adorable.
Created to be fun for the entire family, provided family members don’t suffer from a heart condition
One Night At Flumpty's is designed to be a parody of Five Nights at Freddy’s. Your killers are an egg and a boy with a square head who looks like his IQ can be expressed by using just one digit. It really looks harmless at first but then you start to notice some things in your office.
In fact, disregard the upper subtitle, you might want to steer this one clear from little kids. Unless you want to explain why Winnie the Pooh’s guts are sticking out. There’s also poop on the table.
Although One Night At Flumpty's is one big set of chuckles, don’t underestimate it. It’s creepiness is subtle and thanks to its cartoonish look, when things go down you will jump up.
Definitely, totally, utterly worth it
One Night At Flumpty's is a great testament and why not, an acknowledgement of how good Five Nights at Freddy’s is. The light delivery kind of contradicts the whole horror/survival thing but it’s definitely fun and funny to play, and it also catches you totally off guard.
