Description
Zombies are quite easy to integrate into stories and video games, although it’s sometimes just easier to include them without any explanation whatsoever. Hence, a zombie shooter needs no introduction, and you know what you’re getting before the loading screen goes away. On the other hand, it’s much better to play something different for a change.
Kill as many zombies as you can
Battle For Survival 5 is a first-person shooter in which the only goal is to destroy the zombies that charge at you every other second. Unfortunately, it plays about as bad as it sounds, given the fact that there are no interesting developments waiting for you along the way. In addition, the gameplay is fairly dull as well, with no interesting mechanics or great story twists.
Speaking of which, the story is about as straightforward as it gets, with no actual characters or any kind of tangible plot. Thus, you are a lieutenant who passes near a village that happens to be infested by zombies. Naturally, all the zombies in the village suddenly attack you, which means that you have to defend yourself or risk never getting out of the village.
Basic graphics and simple mechanics
The most annoying part about the game is the fact that you can only run around the featureless map and shoot the hordes of zombies that always run toward you. There are no missions and no clear goals, not to mention the fact that your only weapon is a weak pistol and the few health packs that drop from the zombies you kill. This makes it difficult to keep playing for more than a few minutes without getting bored.
Lastly, the graphics are nothing to write home about either, since the only things you can admire are a couple of almost textureless buildings, a few trees and an endless expanse of grass. There are no special effects to talk about, and it’s actually laughable to see the blood splatter effects whenever you shoot a zombie.
A poor FPS that may be a good way to waste a few minutes
In conclusion, Battle For Survival 5 is not the kind of game you remember for years to come, and it’s not much of a looker either. On the other hand, it can be a great way to waste a few minutes whenever you have nothing better to do.
