Murder at the Residence Gudul

It’s 3015 and technology has evolved to the point where laziness is highly encouraged and being so is the best way to live. Thanks (kind of) to a great invention called the Distritube, life became a lot easier for Dowie but not necessarily more fun.

A point and click with a great look and interesting setting

Murder at the Residence Gudul is a point and click game that follows the standard gameplay of the genre while immersing you into a unique alien world. You play as Dowie, a big fan of the Distritube which is a hybrid between a TV and a teleportation device for whatever you see and want to purchase.
Come to think of it, it’s a pretty sweet idea that could actually change the world. At least it did in the game. Thanks to not having to move at all in order to get anything done, your main character rejects social interaction but that changes once the Distritube system goes down.
Making a short trip downstairs to see the janitor about the problem, Dowie’s day gets a kick in the butt because the handyman is dead.

Great visual theme and soundtrack to go with everything

As far as point and click games go, Murder at the Residence Gudul looks just great. The future it depicts is strange, even creepy at times but it’s also colorful and full of interesting characters that make the game more humane.
Gameplay is super friendly as you will only be using simple mouse interactions to chat with people, open doors, collect items and so on. In terms of difficulty, no one needs to worry about facing a brain masher. Murder at the Residence Gudul is more about the story, its whimsical characters and having a relaxed time with it.

A game that’s built to showcase something really nice

Murder at the Residence Gudul is a very short game, you get a few minutes with it. However, it’s enough to to make two things clear. One, a game doesn't have to take days to finish for it to be good.
