Leo’s mother had died giving birth to him so he’d been raised by his hard-working father and various nannies. He’d been given official evidence that his father had been killed fighting in the war a week before his 18th birthday.
On the day of his birthday he received a note from his estranged grandfather. The note contained little content but stated that he had some vital information about the family to pass onto Leo and that he should meet with him as soon as possible at his residence.
