Although most people would definitely say that prisons are something our society needs if asked, it’s surprising how much attention movies and TV shows about prison breaks get when they are released. The thrill of escaping from such a place outweighs everything else, which is why it doesn’t even matter if the ones trying to escape are guilty or not.

Avoid the guards and the prisoners on your way out

JollyJailJumper - [JJJ] is a unique puzzle-platformer in which your goal is simple: avoid all obstacles and make it to the exit before anyone gets wise. Lightning-fast reflexes and good hand-to-eye coordination are needed to make it past some levels, although you can also employ muscle memory if you replay them enough times. More mechanics are added along the way as well, which makes the challenge that much greater.
It all starts when one of the prisoners attacks a guard and steals his uniform. Naturally, the violence causes a full-blown riot, which means that both the prisoners and the guards are disputing supremacy over the prison. Your character’s name is Piotr "Sixfinger" Peter, and he decides to make a run for it while everyone is fighting around him.

Change outfits and jump over obstacles

As mentioned before, a guard outfit is stolen when the riot starts, which is how you get your hands on it. The whole point is to put it on when you are near other guards, as well as take it off when you get near other prisoners. You are always moving at a constant pace, on the other hand, which means that you have to react quickly, because there’s no way to stop your character from running.
More intricate obstacles make an appearance later on, such as doors that require you to wear a certain outfit in order to get through. However, avoiding spikes and wearing the wrong outfit remain your biggest concerns, especially since you have to reset the entire level if you touch something you shouldn’t.

A challenging game for hardcore platformer fans

In the end, JollyJailJumper - [JJJ] is certainly going to put your reflexes to the test, not to mention your nerves. Hence, if you are up for a challenge and you do not mind the simple graphics, this could certainly keep you busy for a while.
