Disciples: Sacred Lands

In a medieval world where the impending approach of a new millennium sets in motion a desperate struggle, four realms--the Empire, the Mountain Clans, the Legions of the Damned, and the Undead Hordes--find themselves mired in conflict that is rooted in disputes between their gods. Old rivalries and hatred drive the gods to wage a war of total destruction against each other and their realms. This was prophesied, as was the only way to end the madness: the realms themselves must fight each other to the death. Only by completely vanquishing the other realms will the victor and the victors gods survive and enter the new age.

Disciples - Sacred Lands is a turn-based strategy game. Gamers control one of the four races as they guide them through the chapters of the Saga, developing powerful mages and warriors, discovering ancient artifacts and scrolls, and leading parties of intriguing characters in battles of sword and sorcery. There are two playable quests included in this demo, one for the Empire and one for the Undead Hordes.

Game features include a fully explorable medieval world; more than 100 spells, each boasting its own dynamic animation; an engrossing story line; multiple scenarios; hundreds of gameplay hours; and multiplayer action over the Internet or LAN.
