Death Worm

Death Worm is a 2D arcade game that’s fairly weird when you put things into perspective. You are a giant worm that lives underground (duh!) and loves to feast on human and animal flesh.

Always have the element of surprise

In Death Worm, things are simple when it comes to gameplay. You control the giant worm using the arrow keys and have to surface whenever you spot something tasty to eat. Moving underground makes you fast and builds the momentum you need to jump up at the victims but landing the kills takes practice.
Death Worm looks rather bad, and it’s a shame because the gameplay is fun. If you’re into killing miniature humans, camels, and elephants, then this one is for you; especially since the future food has no clue about the place from where you will strike. You can eat them whole from beneath or crush their little bodies by falling on top of them.

It’s fun at first, but then it gets tough and more fun

The game starts off pretty relaxed, so you have time to get used to the controls and pace of it all. Some time in, after you feast on a few humans, things start to get complicated because the military will be after you.
GI Joes, rocket launchers, Tesla zappers and more will try to blast you to smithereens with every chance they get. The worm has limited HP, but it regenerates over time or by eating other worms. Having this regen safety line, you can try your luck and destroy tanks by launching them in the air or you can attempt some combo kills.

In its simplicity, Death Worm is very entertaining

Death Worm’s looks are its only major setback. The game would have been a lot more entertaining if the graphics were at least a bit better. But even so, it’s nice to play thanks to how dynamic it is.
