Box World

Box World might be another way of saying Sokoban, that puzzle game you’ve had on your 2003 Siemens phone. You know, the one where you have to move some boxes over marked spots in a maze-like room. Yep, that one, the one that looked pretty easy until you reached level 3.

Sokoban at the core, Box World in appearance

In Box World you will have to do exactly the same thing as in Sokoban. Which is to use your powers of foresight and logical thinking to find the best way to move all the boxes from where they are to each of the designated spots.
You will only be able to push the boxes so you really need to think ahead before you act. Sticking a box to a certain wall might leave you with no other option than to restart the level. However, Box World does come with an undo function that you can use when you mess up.

Kind of goofy looking but with so many others like it out there, you can barely tell

Box World is that kind of puzzle game that can be played for hours on end until you get to complete every level it has. Or it could take you five minutes, case in which you need to sign up for a genius grant.
In terms of looks, there’s not much to speak about. Box World is a basic game with a simple design that just wants to emulate the original puzzle game. It’s not bad and it’s not great either, it’s somewhere in between, it’s OK.

Something for simple and casual fun
