Description
In Seabase Delta we will join secret agent Ed on a thrilling and dangerous journey. Somewhere in the atlantic there is an enemy sea base. A nuclear missile is aimed at the United Kingdom, Eds home. Of course, Eds task is to stop the missile and save his country. Your task is to guide Ed on his quest step by step by using simple English commands. There are more than 60 locations (with illustrations), dozens of items you will find and a lot of tasks and puzzles to be solved. The game was made primarily for intermediate students of English as a second/foreign language. Students will experience hours of fun learning and pracising English, they will learn new vocabulary, new expressions, collocations etc. I programmed the game for you myself, although it is not entirely my creation. This game, written by Peter Torrance, was released back in 1985 by Firebird (UK) on 8-bit computers (ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 etc). Now, 25 years later, Peters story comes alive in a new coat! I used most of Peters texts, locations, puzzles etc. and made just minor changes to make the game more playable.
