Palisade Guardian

Palisade Guardian is a Flash powered arcade game in which you have to precisely aim your rifle at an invading enemy force that wants to destroy your headquarters. The game comes at you with increasingly difficult levels that require your marksman skills more and more.

Aim well to get the extra cash

The goal of each level is to eliminate all the enemies before they destroy the building you are guarding. Palisade Guardian is played from a sniper’s perspective, allowing you to have lateral vision of the battlefield so you can easily take out the targets you choose.
Enemies come at various speeds and are of different types. Some soldiers move faster than others and as levels go by, machine gunners join the fight, jeeps, then Howitzers until even tanks make their way onto the battlefield but not for you, for the enemy side.
At the end of each battle you get a summary of how many types of enemies you’ve eliminated and an accuracy percentage. Based on that, aside from the standard level reward, you get extra cash which you can use to purchase a new weapon.

The game would be very easy if you got to keep all the money you earn but that’s not really the case. Enemy forces will get plenty of chances to open fire on the palisade and cause damage. Apart from the weapons need, you will also have to spend money to repair the damage.
This makes it very important to aim as best as you can because you get additional cash for the headshots you manage to pull off.

On a closing note, Palisade Guardian is a good game to have around on a rainy day. Replayability might not be its strong point but it is a fairly challenging and enjoyable game.
