Medic Panic!

Hospitals are usually pretty hectic places, mainly because there’s always an emergency somewhere and human lives are at risk. Obviously, the job of a doctor can be pretty stressful, especially when they have to deal with long shifts and complicated cases. However, they are rarely required to handle stuff alone, thanks to nurses and other personnel.

Clean the hospital and cure the sick people

Medic Panic! is a fast-paced arcade game in which your job is to run from patient to patient and cure them as quickly as you can, in order to clean the hospital and avoid an epidemic. The gameplay mechanics are as simple as they can get, but that doesn’t mean you’ll have an easy time on your hands. In fact, it’s quite the challenge to make it to the last level.
As far as the story is concerned, you play the role of a Dr. Hilton, who finds out that a very wealthy man is about to visit the hospital in order to decide whether he is going to make a sizable donation or not. However, the hospital is full of people with the flu, and you are alone on shift. Thanks to a miracle vaccine that cures everything instantly, on the other hand, it should be possible to get the hospital in shape by the time your benefactor gets there.

Avoid the stretchers and the disease

Although you can cure any disease with one shot, you still need to get there in time before it spreads, otherwise your work is in vain. There are usually multiple floors as well, which means that you have to take the elevator in order to travel between them. Doctors with stretchers run across the hallway every now and again, and you must hide behind a door before you get run over.
There’s also the actual virus that floats around the hospital, and it infects people regardless of whether you gave them a shot or not. In fact, it can even infect you, which considerably slows you down and makes everything more difficult. Granted, you can use a power-up to get rid of the disease instantly, but they come in short supplies.

Basic 2D graphics and repetitive level design

All things considered, Medic Panic!’s greatest flaw is the fact that you might get bored of seeing the same corridors over and over again. On the other hand, you might be too busy with the gameplay to notice the graphics.
