Description

Madness Interactive seems to be a pretty accurate title for a game that’s totally mad and interactive. It’s a Flash powered creation that’s part brawler, part shoot-em up, part simulator but combined, it’s a well put together piece of fun.

Simplicity in design has nothing to do with it being easy

Expect what you want from Madness Interactive but for it to be a game you can complete in a couple of minutes is not an option. Its controls are easy to understand and master but the real and actually only challenge is to learn how to move the the main character in the most efficient way.
While equipped with a weapon there is no crosshair to help you aim, and when you're fighting bare-knuckle or with a baseball bat, you have to move the mouse repeatedly to simulate the actual swing. To those two, add the fact that you have to dodge fists and incoming bullets from enemies and you have a really challenging game on your hands.
Moreover, ammo is very limited and it often happens that if you don’t disarm an enemy fast enough, when you finally do, you might end up with an empty gun that’s only good at swinging around at someone’s head.

Continue and enjoy the madness with multiple game modes

Madness Interactive is built to test your patience and skills in different ways. There are Matrix fights to enjoy, zombie massacres to savor and if you want to kick it manly-man style, a knife fight is what you want to try out.
In all fairness, Madness Interactive has a lot going on for it and it’s kind of a shame that it hasn’t received any remastering or a new version. Although, enjoying the status of a timeless classic seems fair enough.

Most definitely fun if you’re into tough run’n gun games

We haven’t even gotten into the part about where you can customize the character to look like a ninja with a pirate hat and a parrot in his shoulder but mentioning it just might be enough to get your curious.
All in all, if you're looking for some oldschool pure Flash game fun, Madness Interactive is a great place to start at.
