Description
Games are known for their ability to improve the memory and problem-solving skills in children. Lucky Farm is a memory game that enables you to flip and match various animal cards.
Minimalistic looks that do not impress
The game is easy to install and leaves a small footprint on your computer. The first time you open the application, you will see a leader board with the highest scores. The only option it provides is to start a game. There are not settings to be tweaked.
In the graphics department, there isn't much to say. The textures are pixelated, and the resolution of the images is small. The backs of the cards are all the same and are quite bleak. You might not like the overall looks, but you can easily play it on older computers.
Simplistic gameplay designed for all players
The gameplay is straightforward; you click on various cards and see what animal it hides. When you match two animals, the cards disappear. There is a time meter that keeps you searching for cards permanently and you have twenty levels to complete.
The difficulty curve is not that smooth. The first few levels are easy, and you can intuit the program's algorithm for setting cards. However, the game starts to increase its difficulty abruptly. The cards begin to float from their positions or flicker so you cannot properly focus on matching them.
A cute initiative with room for improvement
To sum it up, Lucky Farm is a simple, but fun memory game. You can spend some time with it, but it eventually gets frustrating. The graphics disappoint and you will not be tempted enough to keep playing.
