Hyperbowl

This is how the things go... Banshee Studios have taken an old Spectrum Mastetronic game and revamped it for the 3D generation. The game involves one arena, two ships, two goals and one ball.
You take control of a ship and must fly and blast your way around the arena trying your best to knock the ball into the opponents goal. You can ram the ball with your ship which sends it flying or shoot it to speed it up. There are a few things on the pitch that will deflect the ball should it hit it, but mostly its open terrain.
Here are some key features of "Hyperbowl":
· There are a variety of ships to choose from, some fire faster but move slower, some move faster but have weaker shields, etc choose carefully (hint: go for speed!)
· The arena is nicely done with a crowd and big video screen that actually shows what is going on on the pitch
· You can play a single match or a league game (last as long as you can basically)
· The ship models are nice, the ball looks good and its all done quite nicely indeed
· Various blasts, rebounds and other effects are thrown through-out the game
