Description
Long time ago, a married lady came across this solitaire game and became obsessed with it. She played the game for long hours and totally ignored her family. Unable to stand this, her husband finally asked for a divorce. This is the story behind this solitaire game and the reason for its name. In Grounds for a Divorce, 2 decks of standard playing cards will be used, and your goal is to arrange all cards on the tableau piles, building down by suit and wrapping from A to K if necessary. When the game starts, 10 tableau piles will be located at the top of the screen, and each of them will be dealt 5 face-up cards. The remaining cards will be placed face-down to the stock pile at the bottom right of the screen. Cards on the tableau piles can be built down regardless of suits, but a group of cards can only be moved to another tableau pile if the move itself is building down by suit, for example, a 3 of spades and a 2 of spades can be moved to a 4 of spades on another tableau pile. When 13 cards built down by suit are arranged on a tableau pile, those cards will be removed. If a tableau pile becomes empty, you can move a single card or a group of cards built down by suit to fill the space. When no moves can be made, click the stock pile to deal a new card to each non-empty tableau pile. But if the stock pile becomes empty and you cannot make any more moves, you lose. How quickly can you solve this challenging card puzzle? Come and try now!
