You have not been bored until you play this Flash powered creation. You are a city employed worker who, during a lunch break, gets the great idea of tossing water-filled balloons from the top of the Golden Gate Bridge on unaware travelers.

Simple arcade fun that’s here to rob you of spare time

Behind Golden Gate Drop, like with most Flash games, there is simple gameplay. In this case you move the character with the arrow keys, aim with the mouse cursor and drop the bomb with the left-click. Making sense of what you have to do is as simple as letting go of a water balloon.
Visually, Golden Gate Drop uses a comical and cartoonish approach for both character design and their movement. You can choose between four grownups to use as you bombardiers, and each one has a unique look and differently colored balloons.

It’s all fun and games until a seagull poops on you

The tricky part of the game is timing your throws because the targets are of different sizes, they move at various speeds and come from several directions. In the spirit of arcade games, the start is fairly slow-paced, allowing you to get a handle on the gameplay mechanics, not that there are several to speak of.
The idea is that as you advance into the game, things get more complicated because there are targets that you shouldn’t hit, such as police cars and sweet little grannies. Apart from avoiding those you will also have to steer clear of seagulls who bombard you in their own way, as well as rednecks who drive pickups that have water cannons.

Good, clean, and childish fun

On a closing note, Golden Gate Drop is as casual as they get. It features simple gameplay, whimsical characters and an amusing presentation. If you're looking to waste a bit of time, this is a decent choice.
