Description
Aniball is the little Flash cousin of football simulators from around the world. It’s a game that blends cute graphics with a simple gameplay and ultimately offers an enjoyable experience.
A perfect example of a casual game
With Aniball, things are very easy. You get to choose whether you want to play against the AI or share the keyboard with a friend and see who can score the most goals. There is a total of six keys that you will be pressing to control your players, shoot, tackle and pass, making it a breeze to play compared to other simulators.
Once you choose your opponent, it’s possible to select the type of players you want on your team. You can opt between clones of ‘Hammy’, ‘Catzy’, ‘Box’, and ‘Octo’, all of which are really well designed.
Indoor soccer where anything goes
Aniball takes soccer to a small scale as you will be playing on indoor fields where only five players will be available. Not that that wouldn't be enough. Your little guys can tackle like crazy and there’s no referee to punish unsportsmanlike behavior, yep, you can knock out an adversary for a good couple of seconds and no one can do anything about it.
The ball won’t go outside the field but bounces off every side. It’s like playing air-hockey with foosball dummies which you can actually move, and that translates into fun.
A different take on soccer
Considering its small size and few options, Aniball is a really good game. At times it’s a bit difficult to switch to the player you want to use to defend your goalpost but other than that, it’s a completely enjoyable game.
