Description

Featuring an all-new feature set, SimCity Societies allows you to create your own kinds of cities and shape their cultures and environments. Make your cities green or polluted, contemporary or futuristic, rural or urban. Create an artistic society or a police state, an industrial city or a spiritual community or any society you want.

Shape your city by choosing your values: Mix and match societal values to determine the core attributes of your city, then watch the evolution of your city as its appearance and sounds adapt to reflect these values. Build your city using more than 500 unique objects from a variety of architectural styles. As your city evolves, you unlock new buildings to advance your society. You can also share your creations with your friends online, and modify almost everything in the game, from the names of your Sims and buildings, to building textures and statistics, and even Sim behaviors.

This demo highlights some of the updates to the game since its release in November 2007, such as new difficulty settings, new disasters like UFOs and giant robots, and a revamped interface. The demo includes a tutorial, one scenario, and two major disasters.
