Description
Sometimes, complex gameplay mechanics are not the best solution when it comes to video games, especially those that are designed to help you relax. Hence, even the simplest mechanics can work wonders in the right conditions, at least if the replay value is satisfactory enough. Multiple levels or game modes to choose from can also be great, especially in simple games.
Destroy all the bottles as efficiently as possible
Shooting At Bottles is an arcade puzzle game in which your goal is to use bouncing bullets that ricochet from wall to wall in order to destroy as many bottles as possible with one shot. Granted, you have multiple shots at your disposal, but it still takes a good aim to get to some of them, especially since the physics can be rather tricky to predict sometimes.
The first few levels are fairly easy to understand and solve, but things get much more difficult later on. In fact, it doesn’t take long until you have to calculate a few bounces ahead in order to hit just one bottle, so it can certainly get frustrating after a while. You are rewarded with more points if you manage to conserve bullets, but that doesn’t help too much.
A neat collect of puzzles and plenty of levels
The best thing about Shooting At Bottles is the fact that you have plenty of levels to choose from, even if most of them only provide you with a tougher challenge and no new mechanics at all. Even this is enough to keep you engaged, on the other hand, especially if you don’t like to fail. The high difficulty level might prove to be too much for some players, on the other hand, depending on your patience.
Not much can be said about the graphics, but then again they are of little importance in a game such as this one. It doesn’t take long to get bored with the same backgrounds and textures, but you might be too distracted with the puzzles to care. The music gets on your nerves in a rush as well, but at least that can be easily disabled using a simple click.
A great way to waste a bit of time and work your brain
Even if it’s very simple when it comes to graphics and gameplay, Shooting At Bottles can still keep you busy for a while, especially if you like a challenge. However, it can also bore you just as easily after a few minutes.
