Dr.Green

Dr.Green is a little game designed out of passion and appreciation for the classic platformers from a while back. It rocks vivid oldschool pixel art designs and takes you on the adventure of a young man who starts off saving the forest he grew up in and then stumbling into a more meaningful plot.

A unique and colorful world

From a design point of view, Dr.Green sticks true to the platformer legacy. The worlds you travel through are unique, full of color or just a few cold shades and are packed with numerous enemies and traps that hinder your quest.
Traditional to classic platformers, you do a lot of jumping to get to where you need to go. A nice thing about Dr.Green is that levels are created to be both challenging and easy to navigate at the same time. Some have two paths to advance through and there are plenty of semi-difficult jumps to make.

Simple controls and gameplay that make it fun

Dr.Green sets the arcade mood on your computer while you play it. There are only four keys to use to control your character and with then you can move to the left or to the right, jump and shoot while enjoying the chiptunes soundtrack.
Seeing as how Dr.Green was raised in a dense forest full of large trees, he has mastered the double jump ability which you can use throughout the entire game to make difficult jumps or to reach hidden places. Even though that makes things a lot easier when it comes to dodging attacks, you need to be careful when you use them. A wrongly timed jump can mean death and you only get three lives to use.
