Fireflies are small insects that can chemically produce light from their lower abdomen. In our case, the small firefly just wants to reach his girlfriend safely and thus, he needs your help.
From what it seems, his girlfriend travels a lot, since our small hero will have to overcome the dangers of a small village, the perils of a town, and the deadly traps of a megacity in order to reach her safely.
The controls are quite intuitive, the firefly is attracted to light, thus, the only way to reach his girlfriend is to trigger the lights in each level to make him move slowly towards his mate.

The only friendly light is your own

The irresistible attraction to lights is not only a way of traveling around each level but, it can also lead to our hero's demise if he touches any of them.
Different lights come with different properties that can help you get closer to your girlfriend in one way or another but, learning to control these lights is the tricky part, as you will have to trigger them only for a brief moment in order to keep the firefly on the move.
Sometimes you will have to use momentum to overcome various obstacles that may block your path towards your lover. In other situations, the firefly will have to avoid glass planes that might modify his trajectory leading him away from the perfect path.
Besides that, you will also have to deal with automated lights that cannot be controlled by the player. Another aspect you'll need to consider is taking care not to trigger too many lights at the same time and surpass the limited energy level, because it will instantly fry our small hero.

Don't Fry The Fly is a very fun to play puzzle game that will surely keep you pinned at your PC for a few hours trying to make your way through all 96 challenging levels.
The different modifiers will sometimes give you a hard time reaching your goal, but that just adds to the fun of each level.
